So its been a while since i posted last, here’s a couple of fun things I’ve done over the last things. There would have been more, but I lost my phone, on which there were pictures of my recent work, bummer!!

So I’m proud of myself for sticking by my word and keeping my blog up to date.I won’t bore you with details about customers and the tattoos this time, I’ll post the pictures and just let you take a look. All I will say is, that I’m getting a good mix of things to tattoo, and I’m loving every minute of it. I’d like to thank all my returning customers for the support the last few months!

Thanks a lot, and as always thanks for looking!

Trying to keep my updates more regular than last year. Here are a few from the past week. Niko came to get his right hand done, the picture shows the right hand fresh and the left hand healed. There are a few tattoos from the friday the 13th day we had, Found myself fairly busy that day. And the script on the neck is a little more fancy than I normally do, I was pleased how it came out. A friend of mine Alex came in last week to get the locket on her upper back, this was her second tattoo. The cross was a little gap filler I drew on to fill up some space on a Heaven/Hell sleeve I’m in the middle of.

As always thanks for taking a butchers.

The end is nigh

So its the new year,2012. Last year was a bit of a roller coaster. I’m hoping to be a little more on top of my blogging this year, but no promises!! AS always thanks for looking. And to all a Happy New year

The Walk Of Tears

I haven’t updated in a quite a while, works been crazy busy, just haven’t found the time to get round to updating, so apologies.

Did the swallows on a super nice chap from Scotland, he wanted the birds, same enough, with being different at the same time. I did the rose/mum tattoo on my best mate Jamie, he seems to make an appearance in every post of mine.

The ship was on a lower back, on a returning customer of mine. I’ll get a healed pic up soon. The little snake filler was on our shop hand Anton.

I did the Russian doll on on another good customer of mine, always sits like a champ, makes my job a lot easier. The tattoo was for his mum, was pretty pleased how this one came out, sorry about the pics, the placement of the tattoo made it awkward to get a decent pic.

The sugar skull had a sort of Autumn feel to it, tried to approach this one a little differently, been finding myself getting stuck in a rut, doing the same sort of tattoos recently.

Keely came in to get this last weekend, she sat super solid for this one. Couldn’t get a decent photo, face still looked a little red so I’ll definitely post a healed pic.

And a little bit of script for you. From what I remember the words were from a band album, it slips my mind what band it actually was, sorry!

And lastly, I had to post this. I took on a beauty and the beast half sleeve. Just did the line work to start. I have a feeling i may regret taking this job on. I’ll keep you updated though

As always thanks for looking

Busy couple of weeks, lots of different stuff coming through the door. The Koi half sleeve was mostly free hand, apart from the koi and lotus, this was a 3 hour session, I’ll post a finished picture when its done. The matching swallows, was on a really nice friendly Australian traveller  looking to make a mark on his trip. The script was on a friend of the shop Rich, he wanted to eternalise his love for Madonna by getting these lyrics, it was a pretty type squeeze, but I think it worked.

The swallow is on Fi, a little birthday present for Rich, which I’m glad he liked. The rooster, was a tiny filler I put on my girlfriend calf/knee, its roughly the size of a £2 coin, hell of a squeeze but we got there. The panther is on a my good friend Jamie, it’s a healed photo of the tattoo. Was pleased with how this turned out, bold and crisp.

And finally the print is one I finished last, I started it during work and worked flat out on it. Prints may be available by request.

Thanks to all my customer, new and old, I appreciate all your buisness

Wind in our sales

So this weeks pretty hectic, every week we’re open its getting busier.

The ship on the ribs, was on a  loyal returning customer of mine, called luke.He sat like a rock getting this outline done, looking forward to finishing this one. The other ship was on a new customer, he got this tattoo to represent the success of his band. Caca Fuego was the name of a Spanish Ship, that was sunk during a huge canon fire battle!

The girl head with a fan was a cover up on a wrist, was pleased with how well this covered when it was finished. The bird cage was on a friend of mine Ive known for a while. Sophie had a lot of idea, but we came up wit this simpler design in the end.

The dagger was on a friend called Nathan, he has some good work on this arm, so i was glad to put a tattoo right next to them. It was in a bit of a weird spot, but I think it worked out ok in the end. And finally the game over knuckles and my sister boyfriend, they were hard going as he had some really tough skin on his lower digits.

As always thanks for looking, and enjoy

M Charles.

The first week has been pretty manic, with a some good tats, and a opening party, and plenty of people showing alot of interest. Fiona, the shop hand decided to get this indian girl head straight off one of the sheets i recently painted. And my friend Jamie came in on a whim to get his lower knuckles done, i think he misses home!!

thanks again for looking
